What we collect, why we collect it, and how to make us stop. Written to be read, not to be survived.
What this covers
This policy covers korra.io and the tools on it: the chat on the home page, the free tools, the contact form, and the emails we send you as a result of using any of them.
Korra is a growth and operations partner working with businesses in North America. We are the controller of the data described here.
What you give us directly
The chat asks you questions about your business and, before it sends you the findings, asks for your email address. We store your answers, your email, your website, and the full transcript of the conversation, including anything you type into it.
We do this so an operator can read what you asked before a call, and so we can send you the report. If you would rather not have a transcript stored, do not use the chat. The rest of the site works without it.
The contact form and the free tools collect what you type into them, which is usually a name, an email address, and a website.
What we collect about you automatically
Standard server and analytics data: pages viewed, approximate location, referrer, browser and device type.
We also run RB2B, a person-level visitor identification service, on United States traffic. It attempts to identify individual visitors, not just companies, from your visit, and it is ON BY DEFAULT. Choosing "Reject non-essential" in the cookie banner genuinely turns it off, and we remember that choice. We are telling you this plainly because most sites running this class of tool do not.
If you give us your website address, we read the public pages of that site automatically in order to comment on it. We only read what is publicly published.
Who else processes it
OpenRouter processes chat messages so Korra can reply and so it can read answers out of what you type. OpenRouter is a routing service: it passes those messages to a company that hosts the model, and which company that is can change from one message to the next. SendPulse sends the report and any follow-up emails. Cal.com handles booking; when you book, we receive the email address you booked with so we can match it to your report. Monid supplies business enrichment data. RB2B performs the visitor identification described above. For cold outreach we use CheapSequencer to send, and MailTester Ninja and MillionVerifier to check that an address exists before we write to it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Email you receive from us
If you complete the chat we email you the report. If you start it and stop partway, we may send up to three reminders and then stop. If you book a call, the reminders stop immediately.
Cold outreach emails tell you how to stop them in the message itself. Reply "stop" to any message and we stop. That adds you to a suppression list which applies across every channel we run, permanently, and it outlives whichever tool we happen to send with.
How long we keep it
Submissions, transcripts and lead records are kept while they are commercially useful and then reviewed. Suppression records are kept indefinitely on purpose: they are how we know never to contact you again.
Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will act on it. If you are in the EU or UK you have these rights under the GDPR; in California, under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
